Summer & Ice Cream? (Open)

It was summer time still and well Lily didn't have much to do at home so girl went to explore the shops on Diagon Alley to cure her boredom. She didn't really bought anything, she didn't really need right now new things. When The Girl walked past ice cream parlour she needed to step in. It was quite hot day outside and ice cream sounded good idea. Lily found there long line what made her sigh. She stepped into the line and waited her turn to order her ice cream.

Although he could've easily went to a Dairy Queen back in London, Cernunnos decided to go visit some of his wizarding friends and hang out around Diagon Alley and stopping for ice cream along the way. He looked down at his phone scrolling through his Instagram feed liking whatever came up that he found interesting occasionally commenting heart emojis on some selfies. Cernunnos began whistling to himself Britney Spears' "Slave 4 You" as he looked around to find where the line for ice cream was. He walked into line to get his place. Cernunnos really couldn't believe how long the line was despite it being a summer day. He probably would be at home almost done eating a Blizzard by now if he had stuck with the idea of going to Dairy Queen. Realizing the person in front of him was someone he knew, he greeted, 'Hey, Lily."

Lily was wondering exactly what she will order. She was surprised when someone said her name behind her. She looked behind her and saw there familiar face. "Oh hey Cernu," she said there now. She didn't really bother to say the full name of him. "Here for ice cream?" she asked the question what answer was so clear already.

"Yeah. I could've just went to a Dairy Queen in London back in the Muggle world, but I decided to hang out around here and possibly visit some friends. After all, I only get to see my muggle friends during breaks outside of social media," he responded giving a small smile. Cernunnos proceeded to place his phone in a pocket in his jeans. "How has your summer been so far?" Cernunnos wondered looking at Lily. "The school year went by quickly after all, so is summer break." It was a bit of a rare occurrence where he'd bump into a classmate during summer break anyway, so he might as well initiate in some small talk.

"Oh I see. I don't have much muggle friends. Well my summer was quite good for sure. I did spent some days with a family. Also with my friends who I have but they are mostly witches or wizards," she said there mow something about her summer. "So it's has been good," she said with a small smile. "I agree with school year ending fast and also summer break," she had to agree with it. Lily didn't really expect see someone who she knows her today but she didn't mimd to talk with someone who she knows for awhile. Line moved up so she did also. It was still quite long. "I really wonder how long it takes to get there at front," she had to commented it.

Cernunnos nodded listening to her. "That's good. Honestly, outside of hanging with Muggle friends, I've mainly been chilling around and occasionally helping dadd-my father with his errands. I don't know why he won't let me tag along to work with me. I don't think the job he has is hat bad," he commented. "Actually, I don't even know his job at all! There was a period of time though where I had to work because he was out of the house a lot. that was like a year after he almost married some stripper though." Lily was a classmate of his, so he felt comfortable to talk about pats of his life in some way. "I think it depends on the day and season. It is summer, and there isn't any school, and people are on vacation, so it'd be a while. It really depends on those factors along with the crowd. Reminds me of a theme park except instead of there being rides it's just an ice cream shop."

Lily listened when Cernu told basically so much about his life, what she didn't know before. Too be honest Lily wasn't sure what to say on that all new info."I guessone day you'll figureout what he does," she said something. She tried to progress all that new info still in her mind."I know what jobs my parents hold. We are pretty close family," she said simply about herself.

He gave a shrug. "Maybe I can one day If I ever search through his room or something," Cernunnos responded. "Guess I will on a day I know he won't be in the house a lot. He might be hiding some cigarettes from me for all I know. He likes to keep the fruit flavored ones to himself." He didn't like it when his father hid some of the best stuff from him. Sharing is supposed to caring, and he didn't seem to care about his feelings when it came to that. "Well, he and I only really have each other as family, mainly me. I know a lot about him even if he likes to hide shit."

Lily nodded her head there. She didn't really know much about Cernu for sure there actually. Even if they have known each others for awhile. "Well I guess you can do it," she said there. "Oh I see, well doesn't really know nothing much about cigarettes since I don't smoke at all. Never tried and don't wanna either," she said. She didn't really wanna try any cigarettes for sure. "Oh I see. Well not everyone yeah have many people in family. Even if my family has secrets from me for sure. Not everything is shared all the time," she said there now with weak smile. "Let's better talk something else. I don't really wanna make you sad or upset you," she added there now.

'If I have to be honest, cigarettes are more of a Muggle thing, and I live in the Muggle world if that says anything," he responded. "I'm like an open book to my father although I sorta hide things at times, and i don't know if that's either a good thing or a bad thing. When I came out to him a couple years ago all he did was shrug, told me that he could tell since I was an infant, and resumed looking through the Daily Prophet." Cernunnos shook his head. 'i'm fine. One could say I'm desensitized or something I guess."

"I know their muggle thing. I have been in muggle world for sure," she said there with a weak smile. She didn't hate muggles for sure, she lived in magical world but still that didn't stop her going to muggle world for sure. "Well I'm really not that open book my parents. Well at times yeah but I know how to hide things from my parents bu they later one find out they can really pissed about me hiding the things," she explained there now. "Oh I see," she said there now with a weak smile. She really wasn't sure what to else to say about it. Also line had moved up once again so yeah Lily did move along with it.

He crossed his arms. "I honestly don't know why some people in our school has never been to the Muggle world. In my opinion, there's way more to do there compared to around here," Cernunnos commented. "What's the intensity of the stuff you hide from them that they get pissed at? Do they like get pissed over hiding a sticky note from a secret admirer of sorts or do they get pissed due to hiding a condom?" he asked. "I'm honestly curious. I know my dad once got pissed at me for not telling him that I'd be out of the house for a few days. He really doesn't care other than that so he doesn't have to report me as missing."

Lily nodded her head. "Too be honest I'm not sure either. I know some doesn't like muggles for some reason, but muggles can be cool with their technology for sure," she said there with a small smile for sure. Gryffindor girl smiled innocently. "Well there is lot's of stuff. It's hard to explain. Basically I can say I'm not so innocent as I might look. Well I have never needed to hide condom. Just well hiding some more simple things from them. Well more likely lying or just not telling truth about everything what i do," she tried to explain there but she knew she quite much failed at it. "Oh I see. I have never been missing for days and my parents usually know where I am but not always with who I was."

"Maybe they would stop hating Muggles if they actually take some time to get to know some pretty cool ones," he replied. Cernunnos didn't understand how and why there are still people with that mindset. It is the 21st century after all. Shouldn't those close-minded wizards and witches embrace those not like them? "So, what's the extent of your hidden inner bad girl? Do you like vandalize buildings or something?" Cernunnos wondered. "I know a shit loa of places in the Muggle world get vandalized such as bridges, trains, and stuff like that." He couldn't help but to ask as he could see that being a way to rebel. "Eh, my dad just doesn't give a shit about who I'm with."

"Well yeah probably true. So many hate them with no reason. Just because they don't know magic or so. I'm sure yeah if they would spend time with them their ideas of them would changes," she said there with a small smile on her face. Next idea made her laugh for sure. "Sorry. But no. Just well I'm not that kind of bad girl for sure. Let's just drop it okay, since you would never understand" she said there now. "Well let's say my parents doesn't really like me hanging around Malfoy kids. They have bad history together but Malfoy's aren't so bad as they were in past. Parents can't yet understand it," she said there now and sighed.

He shrugged. "Who knows, but shit really does need to change. My dad was a Death Eater, for example, and he's actually extremely tolerant of Muggles and stuff plus with me being half-blood, so..." Cernunnos decided to use an anecdotal experience to show to Lily that even some of the most evil people could possibly change for the better; for his dad, however, it was mainly in that regard. "Then what kind of bad girl are you? Do you find a computer at a library and go on like, I don't know, Club Penguin without your parents' permission?" he asked. "I once got banned on Club Penguin when I was 9 for writing the word fuck." Hearing the part about The Malfoys, he replied, "I thought they were over that shit by now. I know that Lucius and my dad still go out drinking from time to time, so..."

"Well people can changes yes of course," she agreed with it for sure. People can changes over years or when something happens. Malfoy's did changes better for sure too nowadays. They used to hate muggleborns even many years ago. "Nope not that either. Well It's hard to explain what I meant. Let's just drop it," she said there and gave up giving explaining what she meant. She wasn't even anymore herself sure what she wanted to say exactly. "Well potter's and Malfoy's past isn't so great. Well my parents need still understand that they are better now. One day they will," she said there and sighed.

"Let's hope some people manage to change quickly," he muttered thinking of some of the housemates he's forced to deal with. What the fuck kind of bad girl even was the other? Cernunnos began to wonder if she was some type that's so obscure that even he hadn't heard of it. "As I somehow can't figure it out, I guess I'll drop it," Cernunnos said with a shrug. He'd probably end up trying to figure it out very early in the morning after waking himself up due to an existential crisis. "Your parents really should learn the different between 2016 and 1991 if I have to be honest."

Lily smiled and just nodded her head there. Awhile they were talking there line had moved up so she did it too now. She was glad when Cernu decided to drop it too the topic her being bad girl there. "Good," she mumbled there now basically to herself. She wasn't sure what to else to say about it there now for sure. "Well I agree with you they need to learn he different between 2016 and 1991. But they haven't yet," she said there and sighed. She did get along with most Malfoy kids and so did her cousin Rose actually, the last one seemed even be more close with them than her. "I guess soon it's our turn to finally order," she said when she looked how short it was already.
