History: Born to a very bigoted pureblood family, Godwine had always felt out of place. He didn't hate anyone due to their blood purity, and he never liked the idea of continuing the pureblood lineage. Hell, he never really ever found females attractive to begin with, which distanced himself greatly from his homophobic family.

When Godwine first started school at Hogwarts, he often felt as though he couldn't really relate to his classmates, even with the fact that many went through similar things during the second wizarding war. He tended to be introverted, so he found it quite hard to be able to express himself. In the middle of his education at Hogwarts, he came out to his family and they immediately abandoned him refusing to acknowledge him as part of their family.

Going from street to street, he found it quite difficult to survive without trying to find public places to sleep and bathe in without getting kicked out. It all changed one day when a drag queen going by the name of Kitty Litta took him in as her son. Godwine felt inspired by his new parent and created the drag queen persona of Glit Slider to help make money. As Glit Slider, she performed at various gay bars around England, both Muggle and wizard, and became an instant hit, especially around Knockturn Alley.

Years after graduating from Hogwarts, Godwine applied for the job of being the astronomy professor. With two occupations, he often has to be clever when scheduling performances so his students doesn't discover that he's also a well-known drag queen.

Family History: Godwine never really had much of a family; they practically abandoned him after coming out as gay to them at the age of 14. He often found himself going street to street during summer break as his only home was Hogwarts during winter and spring break.
